ABOUT US

MISSION STATEMENT
Water Flower Studios is a multimedia company dedicated to creating content that provokes and inspires. We strive to tell meaningful stories with colourful characters. In the process, we aim to support emerging artists through collaboration. Through mediums such as film, photography, music, and art, our intent is to create, promote, and distribute quality content while strengthening our local communities.

MEET THE OWNERS

Chelsea Goodman

Writer, Director, Producer & Founder

Chelsea is a writer, director and producer from Vancouver, Canada. She founded her production company, Water Flower Studios in 2014 and made her directorial debut with her short pirate comedic film, The Curse of Maggie Boon. In 2018 she wrote, directed and co-produced the fantasy video game themed comedy, Epic Quest, which has gone on to win 8 awards, earn 11 nominations and is now streaming on Indie Film Theater. Chelsea has her Bachelor in Motion Picture Arts from Capilano University and is a member of IATSE 891 and ACFC 2020 in both the Set Decorating and Props Department. She enjoys graphic designing, travelling and watching cult classic films.

David Pfrimmer

Producer & Co-Owner

David Pfrimmer is a writer, director and producer from Vancouver, BC. He has a bachelor’s degree in Motion Picture Arts from Capilano University and was the recipient of the Alex Green award for dedication, while valuing kindness towards others. David made his writing debut with the short, When the Clock Strikes Midnight. He also wrote and directed the short 80’s horror comedy, After the Beep. David has worked professionally in the film industry over the last decade and has excelled in multiple positions including props, production, and locations. His film experience ranges from low budget Indies, to high budget Hollywood blockbusters. He can be described as diligent, hard working, and caring. In 2019, he became the co-owner of Water Flower Studios, a multimedia production company dedicated to creating content that provokes and inspires. He is currently developing the first season of the award winning pilot, Epic Quest with the series creator, Chelsea Goodman. He is a current member of the short screening committee at the Whistler International Film Festival. David is inspired by art; in all of the forms it takes. He strives to create content that is fun and meaningful, while reminding us not to take life too seriously.
